On May 15, 13- year-old Aubree Oliverson will perform Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto No. 1 in D Major, accompanied by the Utah Symphony. This performance is the culmination of an evening in which exceptional high school musicians have been invited to “perform side-by-side with their Utah Symphony mentors,” notes the ensembles web page. Oliverson has been playing the violin since she was six, and has already performed at Carnegie Hall, accompanied professional symphonies, and released several records under the name “Moon Light.”
