D’Addario & Co. has announced the addition of WGI Ensemble Rhythm X to the Promark Drumsticks family, in addition to their Evans Drumheads and D’Addario Accessories endorsement.

Rhythm X will be performing the 2019 WGI season using the new Tim Fairbanks Signature Snare Stick, Tim Jackson Signature Tenor Stick, and the Andrew Markworth Signature Series Keyboard Mallets. All three Signature Artists are part of the teaching staff for the group.

“We are elated to have Rhythm X join our family of Promark artists,” said Kyle Thomas, artist marketing manager. “They are one of the finest organizations in the marching percussion activity with a passion for bringing innovation to the floor each season. We’re excited for the future of collaboration with Tim, Tim, Andrew, and the entire global Rhythm X team - including European X in The Netherlands, XWinds, and the Dayton Dragons Drumline.”

The ensemble has seen many successes and contributed to the design language of the WGI activity as a whole. In 2008 the ensemble won its first-ever World Class Championship, a feat it repeated in 2009 and 2013. The ensemble has earned a medal in eleven of its eighteen seasons of World Class competition.
