Lauren Upton and Sarah Farid, students at Crown Point Junior Music Academy, recently played bass and guitar and recorded their own song on the National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) John Lennon Education Bus when it visited their school earlier this month.

For varsity choir students wondering if they would like to pursue music education, Sherman High School choir director Anna Clarkson gave her students the opportunity to mentor fourth grade students in the all-city choir before their first performance Tuesday night.

ANAHEIM, CA– Leading music education technology company MusicFirst was presented with two of the highest music education accolades during the 2016 NAMM Show in Anaheim, Calif., the Technology Institute for Music Education (TI:ME) Award for Outstanding Contributions to Technology in Music Education, and the School Band and Orchestra Best Tools for Schools Award for Best Teaching Tool for Intermediate Students.
