It is a strange and trying time for all of us in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. We certainly understand times are tough for you, as it is for us. We have been proud to bring School Band & Orchestra for free for more than two decades and we will continue to provide you with free subscriptions during the pandemic. However, we would like your consideration in these difficult times to help support our efforts here at School Band & Orchestra to keep our information flowing and to provide you with a continuous stream of current and vital information when you need it the most.

The 2018 NAMM Show in Anaheim, California is inviting music teachers, school administrators, college music students, and faculty to register for an all-access pass for the convention.
You can also subscribe to the monthly MED and GenNext newsletters to plan and maximize your NAMM Show experience (under “Stay Informed”).
Teachers and administrators can apply to be considered for a 2018 Best Communities for Music Education (BCME) designation or a SupportMusic Merit Award (SMMA) from The NAMM Foundation. The survey is open to all school districts and individual schools with music programs from October 17 to January 31.
In addition, college students are invited to apply for the NAMM President’s Innovation Award. The annual award is given to students who express commitment and aptitude for business leadership in the music products industry and offers a $600 travel stipend to attend The 2018 NAMM Show in Anaheim, California, January 25-28, 2018. The deadline to apply is September 30.
