Notorious rock and roller (and Detroit native) Kid Rock has announced a partnership with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra that will lead to a May 12 benefit concert at Detroit’s Fox Theatre for the orchestra, which hopes to raise $1 million from the event. Officials credit Gilbert with the proposal of teaming with Rock for the performance.
