Texas Elementary Students Build Recycle Music Instruments

A group of Texas students celebrated this year’s Earth day by building instruments out of recycled materials. Students at Diboll Elementary, lead by a music teacher named Phyllis Kirkland, created an impromptu orchestra out of items like two-liter soda bottles, recyclable plastics, Christmas decorations, cereal boxes, and pizza boxes. students took recycling to a whole new level Monday. They celebrated Earth Day by making musical instruments out of recycled materials.

According to local news affiliate KLTV, the students included music students in grades K-3.
