Inspired by renowned French commercial player and B&S Performing artist, Christian Martinez, the MBXH design offers so many new facets of sound, identity, harmonics, body, and ease. Throughout the entire range, you’ll find a wide spectrum of rich harmonics, exceptional intonation, and friendly playing characteristics. This is part of what makes the MBXH an obvious choice for all styles of music, especially jazz (large and small group), rock, hip-hop, film/studio, etc. The new design features an innovative bore from the lead pipe to the valve block which enhances precision, stability, and intonation, “fast-threaded” top caps for easy and fast access to the pistons, and 2 full sets of finger buttons and top and bottom caps to allow the player to express their emotions more freely.
