In July 2016, Carnegie Hall will host the second Summer Music Educators Workshop for school and community ensemble directors working with middle- or high-school–aged ensembles.
Over the course of four days, educators will have the opportunity to engage with expert guest faculty on a range of topics including pedagogy and classroom practices. There will also be opportunities for student ensemble demonstration rehearsals and to exchange best practices with peer educators. The summer 2016 workshop, to be held in Carnegie Hall’s Judith and Burton Resnick Education Wing, will also include tickets to the National Youth Orchestra of the United States of America (NYO-USA) performance at Carnegie Hall.
