Charleston Jazz Orchestra Season 13 Continues with World of Jazz Events in Mid-April

World Of Jazz: A Global Experience is scheduled for the Firefly Distillery at Friday, April 16, 2021 at 6PM; and also for Charleston Music Hall on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at 5PM and 8PM. There also will be a virtual (on demand) performance starting May 1, 2021.

CHARLESTON, SC – Influenced by West African culture and European classical music, an adventurous new style of music emerged in America at the dawn of the 20th century. Jazz quickly found its way beyond the borders of New Orleans, emanating its sound and message around the world.
