The Detroit Symphony Orchestra (DSO) has released a new concert streaming app for Apple iOS devices, Apple TV, Roku, and coming soon to Amazon’s Fire TV.
The new Live from Orchestra Hall app allows users to view all currently available DSO online video—over 200 new and archival performances—including concerts recorded in 4K Ultra High Definition since 2019. Users can also create their own playlists and sync (save) performances for offline viewing. The DSO has created specially curated playlists on the app, including African American composers, women composers, the music of John Williams, serenades conducted by music director Jader Bignamini, new music, and encores.
The new Live from Orchestra Hall app consolidates all streaming content in one convenient location, including purchased DSO Digital Concerts.
