Excelcia Music Publishing expands its leadership team with the appointment of music educator, violinist, and industry veteran, Diana Traietta as director of Sales and Marketing.
With experience in both publishing and retail, Traietta is uniquely positioned to work with domestic and international music retailers, as well as educators, to advance Excelcia Music Publishing’s sales and presence to the next level.
“I am thrilled to join the team at Excelcia Music Publishing,” explains Traietta. “Fifteen years of experience in the music industry — in the classroom, at performances, as a retailer and on the publishing side — has given me a diverse wealth of knowledge that I will apply in innovative and exciting ways to help Excelcia Music Publishing grow and become a key player in the music publishing industry.”
“We are delighted that someone with Diana’s passion and industry experience will help further our mission of inspiring students and educators and grow our company,” remarks Larry Clark, founder and president of Excelcia Music Publishing. “As an educator and musician, Diana is a great addition to Excelcia Music Publishing’s leadership team, which is comprised of those who know first hand what music educators need and desire.”
Prior to joining Excelcia Music Publishing, Traietta served as the educational sales representative at Carl Fischer Music and Theodore Presser Company, and educational sales representative for Northern Virginia for Music and Arts and then as the Affiliate Regional Manager for Music and Arts. She teaches string instruments to a range of students, from young beginners to advanced college-level players. Traietta studied Music Education Education and Violin Performance at Marywood University in Scranton, Pennsylvania.
