We have been proud to bring School Band & Orchestra for free for more than two decades and we will continue to provide you with free subscriptions during the pandemic. The Eastman School of Music (of the University of Rochester) has created the Eastman Connects virtual concert series to bring their community together during this challenging time.
Two of their larger multi-media projects include an Eastman Ensemble performance, as well as a large undertaking from the Eastman Opera Theatre.
Make Your Garden Grow: Eastman Opera Theatre is a massive addition to Eastman Connects that features a total of 47 students and 10 faculty/staff from Eastman Opera Theatre, coming together virtually from their individual homes to bring you a performance of the ending number from Candide – “Make Your Garden Grow.”
In addition, Ode To Joy: Eastman Harmonie employs Eastman Harmonie, which is composed of eight Eastman students who recently came together to bring a virtual rendition of Beethoven’s popular “Ode To Joy.” Eastman Harmonie is a wind octet which includes two oboes, two clarinets, two bassoons, and two horns
