Flying Musicians Internship Program Targets College Students

Mike Lawson • News • November 30, 2016

The Flying Musicians Association (FMA) of pilot/musicians has created an opportunity for junior and senior year college students to share their talents and skills while learning about the aviation and music industry.

This program will provide students the opportunity to earn college credit while developing skills and experience. Students will be able to develop a personal network of contacts within the aviation and music industries. Interns will also be given the opportunity to attend, gratis, select aviation and music events where FMA is participating. All interns will be offered a FREE one year student membership in the Flying Musicians Association.

FMA board member Leonard Assante said, “Practical experience, industry knowledge, and networking are critical for student success. This program provides students the opportunity to gain all three.”

The program rolled out with much excitement and anticipation at both Vol State College in Gallatin, TN (where Assante is an associate professor) and Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, TN.

Now, the Flying Musicians are rolling it out across the country, so students may jump on the FMA Bandwagon in their Spring semester.

Skills we are looking for:

Social Media, Website and Technical, Communications, Data Entry, etc…
