It is a strange and trying time for all of us in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. We certainly understand times are tough for you, as it is for us. We have been proud to bring School Band & Orchestra for free for more than two decades and we will continue to provide you with free subscriptions during the pandemic. The Gretsch Renown Series has been updated to include “302” hoops which are lighter and less rigid than die cast hoops — allowing the drum to better “breathe” and achieve maximum resonance. Other updates include¦ a BD Mounted Tom Holder system, and newly aredesigned 30° bearing edges. The newly-updated Gretsch Renown delivers a contemporary punch, combined with some of Gretsch’s most renowned features, to¦o¨er a versatile kit that’s at home in the studio and on stage. Renown Series bass drums include matching 10-ply maple wood hoops, diecast claw hooks, and heavy-duty telescopic spurs, all fitted with the Classic Gretsch “T” Wing nut. Also added is Gretsch’s heavy-duty, ball-and-socket tom mount, which alleviates the need for tom stands.
