We have been proud to bring School Band & Orchestra for free for more than two decades and we will continue to provide you with free subscriptions during the pandemic. However, we would like your consideration in these difficult times to help support our efforts here at School Band & Orchestra to keep our information flowing and to provide you with a continuous stream of current and vital information when you need it the most.

Juilliard Jazz will present “The Music of Fletcher Henderson, Eddie Durham, and Bill Challis” with guest conductor Vince Giordano and the Juilliard Jazz Orchestra on Thursday, October 12 at 7:30p.m. in the Peter Jay Sharp Theater.
The Juilliard Jazz Orchestra members are Zoe Obadia (alto saxophone, clarinet), Alexa Tarantino (alto saxophone, clarinet), Evan Atwell-Harris (tenor saxophone, clarinet), Gideon Tazelaar(tenor saxophone), and Immanuel Wilkins (baritone saxophone, clarinet); David Adewumi, Noah Halpern, Giveton Gelin, and Anthony Hervey (trumpets); Sam Chess, Jasim Perales, Rashaan Salaam, and Jeffery Miller (trombones); Jake Kelberman (guitar, banjo); Julius Rodriguez (piano); Adam Olszewski (bass); and Kyle Benford (drums). Joining the Juilliard Jazz Orchestra will be Juilliard violinists George Meyer, Andi Zhang, and Ji Soo Choi. James Burton III is the resident conductor.
