With the latest addition of clarinetist Andrew Lowy to the Vandoren artist roster, the Los Angeles Philharmonic clarinet section is now exclusively comprised of Vandoren Artists.
The section features newly appointed Principal Clarinet Boris Allakhverdyan alongside Burt Hara, Andrew Lowy, and David Howard.
“It’s a great honor to have Vandoren Artists Boris Allakhverdyan, Burt Hara, Andrew Lowy, and David Howard make up the entire clarinet section of the LA Phil,” said Sylvain Carton, LA Vandoren musician’s advisory studio manager. “These are some of the finest clarinetists in the world, and the fact that they play Vandoren is exciting for us all. After attending Boris Allakhverdyan’s stellar premier with the orchestra on June 2nd, I’m looking forward to many more concerts featuring this world-class clarinet section.”
The 2016-17 concert season opens September 27 at Walt Disney Concert Hall.
