The National Association for Music Education (NAfME) heads back to Music City for its 2nd Annual NAfME National In-Service Conference. The weekend-long conference includes over 100 sessions for music educators in a variety of areas of interest. Collegiate member attendees will also have the chance to engage in professional development programs.
The convention will feature performances from student groups from across the U.S. as well as the return of the popular Happy Hour and Jam Session events. Other events include the Give a Note Extravaganza at the Wildhorse (a benefit for NAfME’s Give a Note Foundation), a performance by the 2014 All-National Honor Ensembles at the Grand Ole Opry House, and an evening concert by the U.S. Army Field Band and Soldier’s Chorus.
