Nashville Symphony’s Violins of Hope Continues With ‘Composers of Hope’

Next Tuesday, March 20, the Nashville Symphony will host “Composers of Hope,” a part of Nashville Symphony’s Violins of Hope initiative and Chamber Music Series.

This concert will feature bassoonist Gil Perel and other Nashville Symphony musicians performing works by composers displaced during the Holocaust. Selections include Paul Hindemith’s Concerto for Trumpet, Bassoon and Strings, Alexandre Tansman’s Sonatine, Erwin Schulhoff’s Bassnachtingal and more. The interactive concert will be held at 6 p.m. at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center. The show is free, but reservations can be made here.
