Dear Educators:

The impact of the past two years on your profession is almost as indescribable as it is immeasurable. Reports of depression, isolation, and anxiety among students and adults have become commonplace as young people cope with the effects of two years of altered or absent activities. Now more than ever, young people need a place to call home, a group to call their own, and a caring adult as a part of their daily lives. All of this means that…

Now more than ever, music matters. Now more than ever, you matter.

As the school services leader at Music & Arts, I am committed to providing you with every resource possible to help you recruit, retain, and educate as many young people as possible. The more students we can help you find, the more lives you can impact. That’s why we acquired Be Part of the Music (BPOTM) and kept it as a free resource. BPOTM’s done-for-you solutions provide every possible asset needed to demonstrate the power of music, so you can easily:

  • Create your own custom website that educates, assesses, and enrolls students
  • Leverage advocacy videos for students, parents, and administrators
  • Use professional recorded demonstration videos for all instruments
  • Customize written documents in English and Spanish to fit your needs
  • Distribute pre-written parent advocacy newsletters

And so much more. All these resources are free, whether you are a Music & Arts customer or not.

That said, I think you should be a customer of Music & Arts. Why? Because we have spent the past two years preparing for this moment. During the pandemic, our team reimagined many aspects of our business and dedicated ourselves to doing whatever it takes to help teachers help students. We understand that when we help a teacher, we are helping students and have focused on building relationships and providing solutions for overwhelmed music educators.

Furthermore, Music & Arts combines the power of a national reach with the benefits of local representatives, who live, work, and play in your community. Our goal is simple, to reach every educator and student we can.

In addition to all the work we have done with Be Part of the Music, our team is constantly improving and enhancing our program to ensure that you and your students have the best possible experience, with the capability to

Host in-person or virtual rental events with as little as 24-hours’ notice, customized to fit your needs

Set your program’s custom preferences from the widest selection of in-stock instruments

Create custom supply lists for every instrument and ensure students are ready from the downbeat

And we’re not done there. We have more amazing programs and offerings on the way. At Music & Arts, we aren’t just saying the right things; we’re doing them. And, not just for our customers, but for the benefit of all music educators.

Teaching music is hard, even harder over the last two years. We’ve heard you and the Music & Arts representatives in your community have amplified your voice. Together, we have made it through the worst and have managed to impact millions of children for the better. At Music & Arts, our mission is to “Fill the world with music.” Not just for our customers, but for everyone.

Call, email, or write. Anytime. We are here for you. Let us do what we do best, so you can do what you do best, teach!

Sincerely,

Brian Wilson – Vice President, School Services
