It is with the utmost sincerity we ask you to consider supporting our efforts here with a small donation which will allow our staff the ability to keep these interesting stories about your chosen career coming to you in a consistent and timely basis. Your consideration is greatly appreciated. We at School Band & Orchestra wish nothing but the best for you, your school, your family and co-workers. Following the closing of the 2019 Summer NAMM show, On-Stage donated its entire Summer NAMM booth to YEAH! Rocks music camps, a Nashville-based non-profit that puts on several music camps in Tennessee, including Southern Girls Rock Camp and Tennessee Teens Rock Camp.
The donation included all of the products featured in On-Stage’s Summer NAMM booth, including a variety of instrument bags and stands, wall hangers, capos, guitar straps, metronomes, mic stands, guitar pedals, world percussion products, drumsticks and keyboard benches, along with a wide selection of audio accessories.
“This donation makes it possible to serve the hundreds of youth that YEAH! works with each year through not only rock camps, but also partnerships with Title I Schools, community spaces such as DrkMttr Collective, and adult education opportunities like Ladies Rock Camp,” said Sarah Bandy, executive director of YEAH! Rocks. “Over 40% of our participants attend on scholarship, and this gear donation makes it possible for YEAH! to continue its mission of never turning anyone away from our programs due to lack of funds.”
“Donating all of the products from our Summer NAMM booth gave us an opportunity to give back to the local Nashville community,” said Josh Berger, director of product development at On-Stage. “We are honored to be able to provide music programs like YEAH! Rocks with a little boost that will help them engage and introduce the joys of music making to even more people.”
