Seated, Settled, Solfège

I have over ninety students in one sixth grade beginning band class, and it always takes a little longer to get them seated and settled.

We sing a major scale together every day using Solfège hand signs, up and down the scale and in intervals. This helps with pitch-matching, focus, interval tuning and leadership (after I lead the first round, I choose a student to do it).
