A survey on the use of federal funds to support music and the arts, has been launched by the National Association for Music Education (NAfME), the NAMM Foundation, the Educational Theatre Association (edTA), the National Dance Education Organization (NDEO), and the National Arts Education Association (NAEA). The survey asks questions about the use of funds under Titles I, II, and IV-A under the Every Student Succeeds Act and the emergency relief funding to help schools recover from the COVID-19 pandemic. They hope to collect new stories to use in advocacy materials, so feel free to share the information with your networks. Arts educators should consult with district-level staff who oversee these programs and are knowledgeable about district-wide K–12 music and arts instruction. The survey will close on December 9.
