We have been proud to bring School Band & Orchestra for free for more than two decades and we will continue to provide you with free subscriptions during the pandemic. However, we would like your consideration in these difficult times to help support our efforts here at School Band & Orchestra to keep our information flowing and to provide you with a continuous stream of current and vital information when you need it the most.

The Frost School of Music at the University of Miami and Jazz Aspen Snowmass (JAS) have joined forces to create the JAS Academy Presented by Jazz Aspen Snowmass In Collaboration with Frost School of Music at the University of Miami.
Plans were officially launched during the Academy this past summer with Frost School of music dean Shelly Berg and JAS president and CEO Jim Horowitz. The JAS Academy artistic director for over ten years, Christian McBride will work in tandem with FSOM’s Dean Berg and newly-appointed JAS Academy Program Director Chuck Bergeron of the Frost faculty. In addition to performing in big band and small combo settings, JAS Academy students will receive artistic and business master classes with guest artists and guest faculty, entrepreneurship and audience engagement training.
Student applications are being accepted now. The admissions deadline is March 15, 2019.
