Utah Band Brings Healing Power of Music to Cancer Patients

Mike Lawson • News • December 14, 2015

A Utah band brought the healing power of music to cancer patients at LDS Hospital.

The Lower Lights dazzle audiences every year with their classic revival hymns and holiday music.
They performed a private show, looking to bring some holiday cheer for patients in the blood and marrow transplant unit.
They are some of the LDS Hospital’s sickest patients.
“It’s a real treat for us to be able to come be among them for a few minutes and maybe, ya know, we can all for 20 minutes or so kind of forget about the cares that we have,” said Ryan Tanner with The Lower Lights.
“The Lower Lights” annual Christmas Concerts kicked off Monday  night at Kinsbury Hall and go through Thursday.
