It is a strange and trying time for all of us in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. We certainly understand times are tough for you, as it is for us. We have been proud to bring School Band & Orchestra for free for more than two decades and we will continue to provide you with free subscriptions during the pandemic. Music educators for grades K-9 can sign up now to host a virtual Q&A session between their class and a musician from “The President’s Own” United States Marine Band. These 20-minute Q&As will take place between October 5 and November 13, and can be used in both virtual or in-person classroom settings.
This free resource is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Marine Band musicians will be available for a 20-minute virtual Q&A session once students have watched one of three performances: “General Music: Around the World in 30 Minutes,” “Beginner/Intermediate Band: Why I Love Playing Music,” or “Beginner/Intermediate Orchestra: String Colors: Painting with Sound.” The videos are less than 30 minutes in length and will be accessible starting October 5 on YouTube.
